Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A - North this week, Duchesne beat Monticello 28-21. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Rich made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,947 from 7,200. The advance stemmed from a 41-14 victory over Altamont last week.
Wade Netto provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Milford bested Monument Valley.
Jordan Hardy and Netto gave the Tigers a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Hardy threw for 70 yards, while Netto ran for 168 yards. Teammate Jalen Hardy added to the ground attack by rushing for 68 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Duchesne's Trent Roberts and Matt Muir have proven to be a lethal combination. Roberts has thrown for 671 yards this season, while Muir has 10 catches for 276 yards. Milford's Netto leads the league in rushing yards with 901.
In 105 carries Netto has put up 901 yards this year.
The Longhorns are currently in fourth, while Jerry Cowan's team is in first.
Brian Williamson's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Cougars. Netto ran for 168 yards in the win.
