Miller has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Trimble Tomcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Miller has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Saturday, Miller came up short against Bishop Rosecrans and fell 49-40. Miller has struggled against Bishop Rosecrans recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Trimble's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Nelsonville-York 65-36.
Miller's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Trimble, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Miller ended up a good deal behind Trimble in their previous matchup back in February, losing 45-29. Can Miller avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
