University Prep Charter has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Bishop Kearney Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, University Prep Charter beat Rochester Academy 70-60.
Meanwhile, Bishop Kearney's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 71-62 to Marcellus. While losing is never fun, Bishop Kearney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while Marcellus is ranked 12th).
University Prep Charter's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bishop Kearney, they have fallen quite a ways from their 15-7 record last season and are now at 3-6.
