Tiverton strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They didn't even let the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers on the board, marking the Tigers' second-straight 16-0 shutout. The Tigers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last five contests.

Lia Doster and Liliana Luis made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Doster struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Luis tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Doster has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. At bat, Doster went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Luis fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave Luis a new career-high.

In other batting news, Carlie Martin and Kelsey Conway did most of the damage at the plate: Martin went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Conway went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most hits Conway has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Caroline Durost, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.

Tiverton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Juanita Sanchez Complex only posted an OBP of .100.

Tiverton's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tiverton will take on Davies Career & Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
