Cali Taylor made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Mollee Jacobus was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasey McNee, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
