A well-balanced attack led the Jefferson Panthers over Whitehall/Willow Creek in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Everything went Jefferson's way against the as the Panthers made off with a 63-39 victory. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Jefferson had established a 21 point advantage.
It was another big night for Colt Tietje, who scored 29 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kael Hesford, who scored 11 points.
Jefferson's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Whitehall/Willow Creek, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Jefferson will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. White Sulphur Springs comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Whitehall/Willow Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
