The Pringle-Morse Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Wildorado Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pringle-Morse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1318th, while Wildorado is ranked 354th).
Even though Pringle-Morse has not done well against Adrian recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Pringle-Morse came out on top against Adrian by a score of 43-36. The win was just what Pringle-Morse needed coming off of a 96-16 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Wildorado unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Texline. Wildorado has not had much luck with Texline recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Pringle-Morse is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Wildorado, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-3.
Pringle-Morse took a serious blow against Wildorado when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 72-22. Can Pringle-Morse avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
