Levi Hottinger of Akron ran for the longest rushing play in A-8 North - Plains (8 Man) this season against Belleview Christian last week. Hottinger scampered for 79 yards on the play and finished with 89 on the day as his team bested the Bruins.
Akron extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Belleview Christian, 60-16. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Rams' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jared Clarkson threw for 34 and one touchdown and Austin Spear had 28 yards receiving. Garret Basler helped Akron's passing attack out by catching two balls for six yards.
Caliche took down Rocky Mountain Lutheran 72-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
