The Goleman Gators will play host again and welcome the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators, where tip off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Goleman: 23, Hialeah Gardens: 27.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
Goleman put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 43-7 victory over Jackson at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Goleman has posted since November 29, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Akayla Edwards, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Berman, who scored seven points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything went Hialeah Gardens' way against iMater Charter on Tuesday as Hialeah Gardens made off with a 43-22 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hialeah Gardens.
Goleman's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Hialeah Gardens, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Goleman took their victory against Hialeah Gardens in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 40-15. Will Goleman repeat their success, or does Hialeah Gardens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
