Sadly, the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators are still looking for their first win of the season after 19 matches. They fell 50-41 to Charleston Math & Science on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lowcountry Leadership of the 54-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charleston Math & Science to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalailyn Reed, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Reed is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Peyton Webb, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lowcountry Leadership's loss was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-19. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.3 points per game. As for Charleston Math & Science, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18.
Lowcountry Leadership does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Charleston Math & Science also has no future games currently scheduled.
