Baseball Game Preview: Plainview Indians vs. Madill Wildcats

For the second straight game, Plainview will face off against Madill. The Indians will welcome the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Plainview is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Madill with a sharp 18-1 win on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Cooper Flowers made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Brylan Anderson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Plainview is 4-2 when Anderson posts two or more runs, but 1-9 otherwise. Henry Harlow was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Madill is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Plainview, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.
