It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Middlesex Regional had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Montachusett RVT Bulldogs as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

North Middlesex Regional is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Montachusett RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
