The Cheyenne/Reydon Bears proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 22) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 win over Arapaho. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cheyenne/Reydon also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Cheyenne/Reydon found their leader in underclassman Kimbo Denney, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and five steals. Emma Bogges was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Cheyenne/Reydon's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Arapaho, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Cheyenne/Reydon will be playing at home against Corn Bible Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arapaho does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
