New Prairie has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. The New Prairie Cougars and the DeKalb Barons will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, New Prairie beat Marquette Catholic 48-36.
New Prairie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan White out in front who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The matchup was White's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jolie Johns, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, DeKalb didn't have too much trouble with Lakewood Park Christian at home on Thursday as they won 48-30. That's two games straight that DeKalb has won by exactly 18 points.
New Prairie's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for DeKalb, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
