The Bravo Knights fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Chino Cowboys on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 65-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Chino's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shawn Jamison Jr led the charge by scoring 30 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Manuel Alba, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Bravo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Chino, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Bravo won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shadow Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Chino is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Huntington Beach at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th. Huntington Beach knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully Chino likes a good challenge.
