On Tuesday, Field escaped with a win against Canton Central Catholic by the margin of a single free throw, 34-33.
Among those leading the charge was Delilah Rahe, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Field's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Harlin, who scored 11 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
The victory got Field back to even at 1-1. As for Canton Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Field will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canton Central Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mogadore at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Mogadore focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Wednesday.
