It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers can now relate to. They were dealt a 50-16 defeat at the hands of Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama on Friday. Canisteo-Greenwood's loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Tate Catanese, who threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Posker, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Canisteo-Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Canisteo-Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama is on the road again on Friday and play against Tioga at 3:00 p.m. on November 24th. Tioga is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
