Bishop Verot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leroy Roker, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Roker's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Gavin Williams was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with three steals.
Cathedral Prep's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Bishop Verot, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
