After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ezell-Harding Christian, Davidson Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-32 victory over the Clarksville Academy Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Cougars back in January, they had to take a 61-56 defeat.

Clarksville Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Hellums, who posted five points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Hellums is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Madison, who put up seven points.

Davidson Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Clarksville Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Davidson Academy has already played their next game, a 45-42 defeat against Friendship Christian on the 7th. As for Clarksville Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-35 loss against Nashville Christian on the 6th.
