Fort Bend Elkins' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryant Ajiero, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Ajiero is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Nyakundi, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Booker T. Washington's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Fort Bend Elkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Booker T. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lancaster at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. Washington is ranked 225th in Louisiana). Fort Bend Elkins is on the road again on Thursday and play against Warren Easton at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. Warren Easton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 319 points over their last five contests.
