Cambridge Academy was handed a two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against King Academy on Friday. Cambridge Academy blew past King Academy, posting a 57-27 win on the road.
Cambridge Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Maddox Lee, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists, and Andrew Wiley, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Wiley hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Funderburk, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
The win got Newberry Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Cambridge Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
