The Le Roy Oatkan Knights will take on the Livonia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Le Roy 2.9, Livonia 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Le Roy's win against Dansville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Oatkan Knights skirted past the Mustangs 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Oatkan Knights.

Alex Spezzano spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Le Roy's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adam Woodworth, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Livonia let East stack four runs on them in the first inning on Friday but luckily Livonia prevailed anyway. The Bulldogs beat the Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-5.
The team relied heavily on Jake Benitez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Beardsley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
Livonia is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Le Roy, their record is now 14-3.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Le Roy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. However, it's not like Livonia struggles in that department as they've averaged .439. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Le Roy took their victory against Livonia when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Do the Oatkan Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
