Kennett extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 20-3 in the process. Everything went their way against the East Prairie Eagles as they made off with an 18-1 win. Considering the Indians have won 18 contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Handley McAtee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lynnley Patterson was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Avery Payne, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Looking ahead, Kennett will head out to face off against Neelyville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Prairie, they will challenge Twin Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
