The Plantation Colonels put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past West Broward with points to spare, taking the game 69-53. Given Plantation's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while West Broward is ranked 525th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plantation pushed their record up to 7-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for West Broward, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Plantation will be home for the holidays to greet Taravella at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Taravella will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. West Broward will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Everglades at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
