The West-Oak Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seneca Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West-Oak will be strutting in after a victory while Seneca will be coming in after a loss.
West-Oak posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 58-26 win over Crescent. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win West-Oak has posted against Crescent since February 5, 2019.
West-Oak relied on the efforts of Emma Simpson, who scored 18 points along with two steals, and Joey Burgess, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Simpson grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie Lawrence, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Seneca suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 86-39 loss at the hands of Walhalla. Seneca has not had much luck with Walhalla recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
West-Oak has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Seneca, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
