Stanton entered their tilt with Wisner-Pilger on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 41-35 W over the Wisner-Pilger Gators. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stanton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Hupp led the charge by putting up 12 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Hupp is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kelby Pohlman, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Stanton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Wisner-Pilger, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanton will challenge Humphrey-Lindsay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will take on Arlington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
