Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port St. Lucie). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots 69-5. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Port St. Lucie's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, Calvary Christian Academy, and Calvary Christian Academy. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Port St. Lucie Jaguars take on the Westwood Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Port St. Lucie is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they will host Calvary Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pineapple Cove Classical Academy will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Calvary Christian Academy will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's matchup.
