Hiawatha won the last time they faced Alden-Hebron and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Green Giants by a score of 2-0.

Hiawatha easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18.

Delaney Wood paced Hiawatha's offense, picking up 14 kills. Wood got some help from Mallory Banks and her 22 assists. Brielle Molloy controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hiawatha's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Alden-Hebron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Hiawatha didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against East Dubuque on the 20th. As for Alden-Hebron, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Leland on the 20th.
