Wilkes Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyson Owens, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Owens is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Brady Scott was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Wilkes Central's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9. As for East Surry, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
