It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 78-36 victory over the Patriots on the road. Pembroke Pines Charter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.
Josh Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maximo Ortega, who scored 14 points along with five assists and two steals.
Pembroke Pines Charter is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Miramar, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
Pembroke Pines Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Plantation at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. Pembroke Pines Charter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 23 games -- so hopefully South Plantation likes a good challenge. Miramar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
