Faith Academy (Marble Falls, Texas) put up seven points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 46-21 victory over
Cypress Christian (Houston, Texas).
After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter, the Flames led 32-14 at the half.
Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 18.
The loss snapped the Warriors' 4-game winning streak.
Will Echols played well for Cypress Christian. The sophomore ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Faith Academy's most effective player was
Jason Byrd. The senior threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 18 touchdowns on the season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Cypress Christian, which notched a 47-7 victory over O'Connell in its previous outing.
