McCluer came into their this week averaging 36.17 points per game, but McCluer fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a 7-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Covington. The low total for McCluer limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Meanwhile, Bath County might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. They got past Craig County with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 20-14.
