Braden Slater Delivers Best Performance of Season
Braden Slater produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Karns City to the win on Friday. Slater rushed for 195 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If history really does repeat itself, Slater might just drop another big game when he faces off against Bradford on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Slater saw the Owls), he rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Jase Ferguson's big game helped extend Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion]'s winning streak to seven on Friday. Brockway had no answer to Ferguson as he threw for 281 yards and six touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Ferguson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Ferguson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Punxsutawney on Friday. Ferguson threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 97 yards on only 13 carries the last time he and Punxsutawney duked it out back in September of 2023.

Logan Kohler's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Logan Kohler produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bradford to the win on Friday. Kohler picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards.
The victory snapped Bradford's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. Kohler and Bradford will face off against Karns City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Trey Wingard Dazzles in Dubois Victory
DuBois picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Trey Wingard. Wingard was unstoppable, throwing for 266 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
DuBois' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Wingard and DuBois will head out on the road to take on St. Marys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
