The Miamisburg Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Hayes Pacers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Miamisburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Springboro, taking the game 21-9.
Miamisburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Keith Henry out in front who gained 109 total yards and a touchdown. Henry was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
Miamisburg's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Springboro's QB won't forget Peyton Hoskins anytime soon given Hoskins sacked him four times.
Meanwhile, Hayes can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Franklin Heights as Hayes made off with a 30-6 victory. Given Hayes' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Franklin Heights is ranked 438th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jake Lowman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 244 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. Hayes also got a significant boost from Gavin Brinkmoeller, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 94 yards.
Miamisburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Hayes, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
