Craig Smith and Brendan Watts provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Monroe City. The connection was good for 62 yards, the longest such play in Clarence Cannon this season.
Macon was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Tigers triumphed over the Panthers 40-12.
Macon's dynamic duo of Smith and Watts proved to be unstoppable against Monroe City, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Smith threw for 188 yards and 4 touchdowns and Watts had 156 yards receiving.
