Cox Mill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology Cardinals as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Chargers have won eight matchups by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McCray Trimble and Adam Buckelew did most of the damage at the plate: Trimble went 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Buckelew went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four runs gave Trimble a new career-high. Tateum Crowley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Cox Mill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Cox Mill's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12.
