The Academy of Notre Dame Lancers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Notre Dame Cristo Rey on Thursday.
Academy of Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Notre Dame will take on Innovation Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame Cristo Rey, they will head out on the road to face off against Pioneer Charter School of Science at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
