The Southeastern Mustangs posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 84-40 victory over Cleveland at home. With Southeastern ahead 50-18 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Southeastern's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Cleveland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Southeastern won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Midfield at 5:30 p.m. on January 20th. Midfield is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Cleveland, they will head out on the road to face off against Locust Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Locust Fork presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cleveland in Alabama (Locust Fork is ranked 136th, while Cleveland is ranked 430th).
