Saint Francis Catholic's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Liam Banks, who scored 22 points, and Jonah Powers, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Powers has scored all season. Brett Thomas was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Gainesville Christian Community's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Saint Francis Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Gainesville Christian Community was taken down by Saint Francis Catholic 63-27 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023.
