The Box Elder Bees entered their tilt with the Viewmont Vikings with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Box Elder walked away with a 73-60 victory over Viewmont on Wednesday. That looming 73-60 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Box Elder yet this season.
Box Elder's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Isaacson, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Isaacson hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Trevor Wilkinson, who scored 22 points.
Viewmont's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Drez Jensen, who scored 15 points, and Max Larsen who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larsen has scored all season. Carson Tovey was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Box Elder's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Viewmont, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Northridge the next time they take the court. Box Elder will head out to face Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Viewmont will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
