If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Tri-Cities Prep. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Mabton at 7:00 PM. Mabton will need to watch out since Tri-Cities Prep have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Friday, Tri-Cities Prep put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 49-18 margin over Northwest Christian School. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Mabton lost to Brewster, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-48. Mabton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-27.
Tri-Cities Prep's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Mabton's loss dropped them down to 1-2. In their win, Tri-Cities Prep relied heavily on senior Nate Dituri, who rushed for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns. Mabton will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
