The Southeast Golden Buffalo never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 67-55. That's another feather in the cap for Southeast, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Bishop Carroll had strong showings from John Hauserman, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Ian Muth, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Kreutzer, who scored six points.
Bishop Carroll struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Southeast's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Bishop Carroll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Southeast will be playing in front of their home fans against West at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Carroll on the road again on Tuesday and play against East at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
