Bishop Feehan faced Bishop Stang in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Shamrocks blew past the Spartans 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Randen May was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Jake Webster was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

The win was the third in a row for Bishop Feehan, bringing their record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Stang, they moved to 12-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Bishop Feehan will take on Arlington Catholic on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Shamrocks 3.5, the Cougars 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bishop Stang, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Mary's at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
