The Kiefer Trojans and the Millwood Falcons squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Kiefer Trojans had to settle for second. They fell to the Falcons 34-29. Kiefer's loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.
Defeat or not, Kiefer got some senior leadership from Jaxon Worley who rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown and Zack Watson who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Worley's longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards.
Even if they lost, Kiefer's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Titus Bell was the leader with two sacks.
Kiefer's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Millwood, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Kiefer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Millwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Millwood likes a good challenge.
