Softball Recap: Bellaire Extends Winning Streak to Five

Bellaire never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the East Jordan Red Devils as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Bellaire's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Jordan, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bellaire will head out to square off against Pellston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Jordan, they will venture away from home to face off against Johannesburg-Lewiston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
