Tinora had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Ottoville Big Green with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Rams have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tinora pushed their record up to 13-4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Ottoville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tinora will venture away from home to challenge Ottawa-Glandorf at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 3.5, the Titans 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Ottoville, they will challenge Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
