There's no place like home for Calumet, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-0 win over the Houghton Gremlins. Considering the Copper Kings have won three contests by more than 40 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Calumet didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrew Junttila and Oskar Loukus.

Calumet's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Houghton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Calumet will be playing at home against Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Copper Kings will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
