If the Coolidge Bears were feeling good off their 49-15 takedown of the Cholla Chargers on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Coolidge was beaten by Snowflake 63-31 on Monday. Coolidge has not had much luck with Snowflake recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Coolidge saw an underclassman step up: Naylissa Charles scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Snowflake, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Coolidge will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Walden Grove at 12:00 p.m. on November 21st. As for Snowflake, they will square off against Sunnyside at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Sunnyside focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
