The Hebron Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Washington Township Senators at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington Township took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hebron, who comes in off a win.
Hebron was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Hammond Central 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Hebron who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 24-26, 25-21, 24-26, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Washington Township came up short against Valparaiso on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Washington Township's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hebron, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Hebron has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Washington Township struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Hebron suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Washington Township in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
