Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Libertyville). They blew past the Waukegan Bulldogs, posting a 48-6 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Libertyville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Weaver, who rushed for 137 yards on only nine carries. Weaver's longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another signal caller making a difference was Trevor Wallace, who threw for 125 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brock Williams, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Libertyville's defense and their 5.5 sacks. Jacob Syc refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
